Our goal is to understand your thoughts and wishes in order to plan, develop, design, budget and manufacture luminaries and lighting objects as well as thermo - plastic components.
The factory based in "The Black Forest", Germany is equipped with latest technology from CAD/CAM design up to three - dimensional CNC-cutting machinery and mould shops.
This advanced production facility allows the economic manufacturing of single units as well as larger series of components. 3D vacuum forming can be realized up to 1800 x 2000 x 600 mm. CNC cutting is only limited beyond 2000 x 3000 x 800 mm.
CRISTALLUX is able to offer a full service package to you starting from the first idea until the ready made product.
Each product leaves the factory with its quality seal "Made in Germany" and comes with global warranty.
OUR FACTORY
1963 - CRISTALLUX was founded by Wolfgang Arnold.
1979 - “Norddeutsche Seekabelwerke” aquires Cristallux.
The factories task was the development and production of lampshades, diffusors and components for the lighting and furniture industry.
Both companies “NSW” and CRISTALLUX were using the same basic material “Polystyrol”. Horst Schindler the technical director developed and patented the new material sheet QF2. Therefore the demand of diffusors raised extremely.
1988 - Horst Schindler takes over CRISTALLUX. New products, opened up foreign markets. Exhibiting on international trade fairs brought new knowledge and possibilities. Many shipping companies, shipyards and international hotels believe in the creativity and the know how of CRISTALLUX.
1998 - CRISTALLUX is guided by the next generation. Thomas Schindler, his wife Heike and the whole CRISTALLUX team are working passionately for their clients needs. Large investments into the machinery park further secures a stable position in the international lighting market.
2019 - The third generation with Sarah and Olaf Schindler gets involved in the company. Through strengthening and building new relationships with shipping companies, shipyards, interior fitting companies, architects and designers with innovative new products, CRISTALLUX faces the future with greatest confidence.
